Styling Tips!

Hi Everyone!! This was a request from one of my YouTube subbies "fashionfan31". She has the same kind of leather leggings and wanted some different ideas on how to style them, so here are just a FEW options!

• This first option paired the pants with a red off the shoulder tunic top from Forever21 and black suede pumps from the Christian Siriano line @ Payless. I think this is a great outfit for a night out!

~This top was from last holiday season at Forever 21, so I haven't seen it lately. Here is a very similar one from Kohls that i LOVE!!: It's called the "SO® Lurex® Striped Poncho Sweater" only $21.60!
~Christian Siriano Pumps: Click --> Women's Kristina Buckle Pump $34.95

• This option paired the pants with a gray button top, cap-like sweater (I have no idea what to call it!!). Also paired with the black suede pumps. This is a great option for a night out or even a day at work (depending where you work of course!)*Like I said in the video, I have no idea what this kind o sweater is called. I call it my "cape" sweater, but any funky longer cardigan/sweater will do! 

~ Here is an adorable one from Kohls called, "Takeout Cable-Knit Cardigan Sweater" in Gray: sale $27.99

• This look has the pants paired with an adorable cropped Chanel Inspired suit jacket and the black suede pumps. Again, appropriate for some work places, but also a nice way to spice up a first date ;)

~The button down jacket is from Kohls last year. Here is another one I've been eyeing that will go with this trend. From Kohls, called "LC Lauren Conrad Chiffon-Trim Blazer" sale $42.00

• This last look is my favorite. I have featured this top in another OOTD for a summer look! It is a Pale Pink Caftan/Vintage Inspired top from Target (it also came in other colors). It is paired with the pants and nude patent pumps by "Brash" which is a Steve Madden designed line for Payless Shoes! They are adorable, not super stiletto high and very comfortable. I also styled this with my pink and silver Jewelmint necklace.

Also a requested look for a Wonder Woman Halloween Costume

I felt so bad because I was pretty much the only person on youtube that didn't do any Halloween makeup tutorials. Truth be told, I am just not very creative with costume makeup I guess? But when I received a request from one of my Facebook friends, Sarah, I decided to give it a whirl. The task wasn't crazy. She just wanted a few makeup options for her Wonder Woman Costume and didn't want anything too crazy. I was able to put together a really cool smokey red eye makeup with a nude lip and then also a golden eye with thick black winged out liner and a red lip (see video). I had so much fun! These are also looks that are totally wearable outside of being a costume. So, take a look and let me know what you think! I still haven't figured out what I am going to do for halloween. I have my daughter's costumes and I usually don't dress up. This year I wanted to try out some kind of cool makeup look from one of my favorite Makeup Guru's on youtube, but I haven't found anything yet.

My favorite eye liners!

Every girl needs a great black eyeliner, right? Well I've been on a hunt for all types of eyeliners such as gel, liquid, pencil and cream. It's amazing how much eyeliners have changed for the better over the years! I've said in one of my first videos that I had never heard of Tightlining or Waterlining until I started my YouTube channel. I also learned that particular eyeliners work better than others for this area. I have been totally loving the Milani Liquif-eye liner as it glides on so creamy and smooth and has great staying power. This one is so similar to the Smashbox Limitless Liner which is about double the price and is literally the exact same product (FYI).

I also love my ELF liquid liner in black as it goes on so smoothly and makes a great winged out liner with a little sheen to it. I don't usually wear gel eyeliner all that often, but I of course have one in my collection for the rare occasion I want to use it for a particular look :) The one that works so good is the Wet n' Wild creme/gel eyeliner!! I've had it for a couple months and it is still so soft and has not dried out on bit (which is most of the problems people have with gel liners). I have been so happy with my eyeliner collection, so I hope this video and blog post is helpful for you as well! My Favorite Drugstore Mascaras!

Why go to department store and spend up to $30 on a mascara when there are equally great ones at your local drugstores? I never understood that concept. At any rate, I have been trying out different mascaras over the past few months and have narrowed down some as my favorites for this video.

I LOVE FALL!!!

I've been totally loving doing OOTD because I was able to grab all my winter stuff out of my garage and put them in my closet. I have some really great boots from last year that I have missed so much!! I also love that my skinny jeans from the summer are able to transfer over to my winter wardrobe to wear with my boots. I am still so into my off the shoulder tops. I don't know what it is about them, but I can't get enough of them!!?? Very 80's and I love it.

I still LOVE ELF!

Now that I have been running this blog and my youtube channel for sometime now, I still have to reinforce how much I love ELF (eyes lips face). I feel like their company is growing in all the right directions, coming out with amazing new products and keeping up with the other big companies quality wise, but not compromising their low prices to do so.

One thing that I have always been impressed by and I know many others are to, is their extremely efficient customer service. This is a company that was prepared for it's Celebrity! I can't tell you how many huge companies just did not prepare for their rise and lost me as a customer because I couldn't get problems resolved or even reach a live person EVER! Customer Service goes a long way and ELF certainly does this.

I am so excited for their holiday line as I have seen their sparkle pink brushes already!! The ELF Facebook Page HERE has the most helpful and kinds fans as well as an absolute doll Moterator.  I can't talk enough about ELF because they are so amazing and I see them always being in my top pics for every month. I'm actually at the point where I own EVERY SINGLE ITEM that they have!!! I have nothing left to buy!!! So, I am definitely excited for the new Holiday line to appear :)
